I wasn't disappointed by anything, but that might be because I didn't have very high expectations. The ratings this year are going to be quite low because none of the really popular films of the year were nominated, and that always controls things.

I'm really happy that Sideways and Eternal Sunshine won the screenplay awards.
I'm a little sad that Aviator didn't win best picture, but I think that was a tossup.
I predict that Marty will never win. A tablemate at my Oscar party pointed out that Marty has never won the Director's Guild Award, which means his fellow directors really see him as an outsider, so I just don't see him ever rallying people behind him.
Hilary Swank is talented, but she is not two time Oscar winner talented.

What was with those awards where they either were given out in the audience or they were all on the stage? Nothing says B level like walking two feet to get your award.
Wow, all the songs sucked except the one that won.
- Especially the three songs that Beyoncé sang. What was up with that? All those costume and full on makeup changes, you'd think it was a Beyoncé concert.
- Adam Duritz looked like Sideshow Bob. Grow the fuck up, man.
- Antonio, on the other hand, looked H—O—T HOT and sounded good as well, as did Carlos Santana.
