jlhIt's an odd day when you realize that it's nearly 9pm and you haven't talked to anyone all day. Well, not no one, though I have had days like that and it's one reason I got my first cat, so that I wouldn't wake up Monday morning realizing that I hadn't spoken since Friday evening.

ali_wildgoose for brunch and then we met emsariel at a local baking supply store. We went from there to The Container Store (yay, new lunchbox!) and then I left Love's Young Dream and went to Bed Bath and Beyond, where I was stymied in my quest for affordable 12-oz ovenproof dishes (I ended up getting disposable mini-loaf pans). Moved on to B&N to do a little bit of research for the smut fic (as tromboneborges still has my copy of The Pearl), then noticed the time.
RAN home, put things away, packed up, went to wine store, went to Amish, and got toepicyclical and rubydebrazier's for dinner and VM'ing a bit late. After pasta, salad, pie and a great deal of cheese, we adjourned to the living room for this week's episode of Veronica Mars, followed by more drinking and more cheese. I'm not actually shippy about VM, but there is a real appeal of a Veronica/Logan/Weevil trio, isn't there?
Today I cooked chicken pot pies (hence the mini-loaf pans) and sloppy joe for dinner and lunch this week and straightened up my apartment which suffered from my running off to FL last weekend only to immediately run off to ATL and then having two long days at work.
The Ray DVD is sitting next to me but I think I'm going to write and talk to folks tonight rather than watch the film. I have it until 10 or so tomorrow anyway. Say,calloocallay, still want to see it?
