backdated!
Oct. 29th, 2004 11:20 pmI just sort of was sleepy last night and forgot to post, so I'm doing so now.
Friday was a bit hectic as it always is before a vacation and then
epicyclical said hey, let's see Stage Beauty tonight! And then
ali_wildgoose said, hey, let's have brunch on Sunday!
I also decided not to go up to Boston for the parade, because I hate crowds, but I'm there in spirit, and things.
Stage Beauty was, well, it was a clumsy book adaptation. There was so much plot to get through that the characters never really got developed properly, which is too bad as they were quite interesting. Billy Crudup is fabulous, and drop dead, and Clare Danes was also quite good, but in the end, the whole thing didn't quite work, which is a shame.
I was thinking, Thursday night, that wibble, I will miss watching Johnny Damon and Jason Veritek but lo, I happened upon the first ep of the documentary of Ewan's big motorbike trip and my, he is just . . .
Hmm, this is awfully physically pervy of me. I'm not usually like this.
And the exterminator has failed to show up AGAIN!
