He who laughs last, laughs best.

I am currently laughing at those Yankee fans living all around me. Yessir I am. (But, you know, not too loudly. Don't want to jinx anything.)

On to the Series!

(And in the NLCS I'm rooting for the Cards, because I don't want those election parallels if the Astros win.)

Yay! I actually caught some of it last night on ESPN while my dad was watching. Did not completely understand it but saw a guy tapping someone's hand and apparently it was a big deal. Hee.

I am so glad that I'm not the only one with creepy election parallel syndrome.

Can you effing believe it? Never have I enjoyed losing as much sleep as I have over the past week!

I hope they win the Series, but seeing the dejected looks of the Yankees and fans last night was the ultimate in SWEET!

Last night marked the first baseball game I watched in its entirety.

The Yankee fans were leaving the stadium. That was funny.

Also, Boston is so hung over and slow today it's funny. A grad student in my lab who's a big fan isn't here yet, and he's in charge of the poster the lab needs to have up by 12:30.

Yes, laugh quietly. This is always a good policy. :D

Man. I hadn't even THOUGHT of that, maybe because I don't really think of Bush as ours. For my part, I was hoping for 'Stros/Sox b/c Houston is already so antagonistic towards New York sports franchises from some of the Rockets/Knicks stuff during the late 90s.

Gah. Like I needed another reason to hate the man. Look how HARD the Astros work, holding on by their sad little fingernails and moving forward from sheer force of will, and people are distracted by Shrub. *quietly seethes*

And the worst thing is that now that you've pointed this out, *I'm* half-rooting for St. Louis, because I do not need this kind of regionalist STUFF at the moment. SURELY there are enough reasons for people to hate Texas without throwing "attempting to ruin the Sox Super Season" on the pile.

Look how cranky I am this morning! :)) The eliptical trainer pissed me off. grrrr
