Is an evil evil thing. By the way, my computer at work is not fixed, but has to be sent out, and I am on a loaner that runs windows 98. Grr.

Sorry! I can't seem to get back on YM although it apparently shows me as still being online, despite my having restarted. I'm trying to re-download the thing, and we'll see how it goes. But it really slows everything way down, and I am sort of here at work to work. Comment here, and I'll see what I can do to talk to you, especially you, Rach, as we were in the middle of something important.

I also can't shake that the problems on the other computer started when I downloaded the new YM on that day when YM crashed . . .

You have my deepest sympathy for your YM troubles. I have been on a 3-week work YM-ing hiatus, since the damn program crashes my web browser EVERY TIME (ususally mid-conversation). It sucks mightily.
