jlhI was on a business trip since Monday night, so I had quite a lot of catching up to do! It took skip=300 to get back to Cassie's incredibly excellent story, which was just about the last post I read with anything approaching coherence, as my online time on the trip was spotty at best.
So, VERY sorry that due to the trip, I missed most of the Gloria Estefan American Idol. However, like many of you, I'm celebrating the results. The first line of the USA Today story pretty much summed up my feelings on the matter: If American Idol were a stock market, this would be considered a correction. I'm sure John's kicking himself for missing big band week. But of course, he should have been gone LAST WEEK. And finally, I have no one left who makes me cringe when they sing. So I'm still on record as getting fully sick of someone a week before they go.
Bob Edwards, we will miss you. And with that, I'm off to have a soak. Yep.
