Three things

jlh1--You know, it's times like these that I'm glad I'm such an aloof bitch who hardly ever friends anyone she hasn't met, because I haven't had to see this "marriage is created by God" bullshit on my flist. I could tell you why it's crap, but I shouldn't have to; I could tell you why I feel so strongly about it, but it shouldn't matter. If you disagree, do it where I can't see you. And I'm screening anonymous comments (not because of this but because of all that Mel Gibson spam) so like, don't even.
2--I got a review for EWFS the other day, and it really excites me that folks are still actively reading that story, since it was completed over a year ago. I'm happy to say that that long-planned, long-yammered about sequel to EWFS is finally under way! I hope to have something posted within a couple of months. Watch this space.
3--I was noting that there are a big bunch o' folks that have me friended--almost 200! I know some of you came by after that whole silly smut thing, but not all of you. So the question of the hour is, why do you have me friended? If you could tell me something about yourself, that would be great, too!

Why I friended you...

I have always journaled, so it seemed like a natural step to take, to have one online as well. The BIG thing in my life is that I got married 6 months ago, and am still adjusting.

Possibly I'm not in the group targeted by this question. But, I'll tell you anyway. :) I friended you because I find your posts really interesting. You have a wide range of interests, you have strong opinions, you're not afraid to voice your opinions, and your posts are articulate and, well, interesting. You strike me as the kind of person who, if I met in real life, I would admire and like quite a bit.

I hate to wear shoes. They're the first things off when I get home, before the coat, usually. Though my feet get cold, I'd rather have them be frozen blocks of ice than wear shoes.
I do have fleece slippers from L.L. Bean that I wear when it's *really* cold out.

Something about myself? I see a squirrel trying to get down from the very sloped roof I can see from my window. I'm one of those shy people who can occasionally come off as brave, but my teeth are gritted the whole time and I nod my head too much. I like to eat crab and broccoli. But not at the time time.
