Ha! I guess we showed them!
Dec. 28th, 2003 02:03 pmSo I gave my name and email address on that AFA poll because when I voted they were still saying they would forward the information to Congress and hey, even though both of my Sentators and my Congressman are against the constitutional amendment, they might as well know how I feel. Anyway, today I got an email with the results of the poll as of December 28th.
They have received almost 633,00 votes. 32% are against gay marriage or civil unions. 60% are pro gay marriage. 8% are for civil unions.
However, for those of you that voted with fake email addresses, this note: "Only votes that have a valid email address associated with them will be counted. We will be purging those with invalid email addresses, which may cause poll results to change somewhat."
Also, they are urging recipients of the poll results to forward them to a friend so they can vote. Methinks that once some of the conservatives see the current standings, they'll go in and vote as well. So I doubt that these things will stand. Ah, well.
