It's Christmas time in the city
Dec. 28th, 2003 09:08 amThings I hate:
Tourists.
Tourists who stop right in front of me.
Tourists who stop right in front of me while we are looking at the decorated shop windows, thus blocking my view.
Tourists who stop right in front of me while we are looking at the decorated shop windows so their companion can take their picture in front of said shop window, thus blocking my view.
Tourists who stop right in front of me while we are looking at the decorated shop windows so their companion can take their picture in front of said shop window, thus blocking my view for five minutes because the companion cannot work the camera.
-.-
Next year, I am only bothering with Barney's and Bergdorf's. The other windows are not nearly as inventive, and have massive, massive crowds. The Barney's windows were on a Sex and the City theme, with one window for each woman, and they were completely amazing as always. The Bergdorf's windows were on a dream theme, and as usual featured plenty of absolutely gorgeous couture dresses.
My, so many holiday cards! This is fabulous! I'll give til the New Year and then I'll do big post o' thanks. But, thanks!
