I tried to go to work yesterday, but after five minutes realized I couldn't stick and came straight home. Luckily, TCM was having a Fred & Ginger marathon, and

tromboneborges turned somersaults for my amusement even though I'm very sure I wasn't all that lucid. It was one of those things where I couldn't quite nap, just sit in my nice green chair with my feet on the ottoman and the AC turned up a bit too high so I could bury myself in my afghan.

Floated out of the house to meet

weatherby for lunch but again, low energy=not a lot of conversation, or at least an ability to keep one going, so sorry, guys.

More rest at home, more talking to Josh, this time about some egregious VH1 countdown thingum. Felt much much better by evening. Good thing, as I had to pick up

ladylisse and

misscora and bring them to dinner with the above,

bhanesidhe and a moppet who wandered in and proceeded to eat sugar straight from the shaker. Odd to be back at Veselka as I haven't been there in quite a while, but it was suggested because they can absorb our noise and Lisse had wanted pierogi when she was here in November but we were denied.

queerasjohn-land, by the way. He has been much missed during our cavorting.
