One addition: As best as you can, it would be great to nominate female characters and/or characters of color. I did the kiss meme last week (I'll be posting links to it later) and of the six ships requested, all were boyslash ships, five with white boys and one with a white boy and a black boy. I feel a little weird about that, not gonna lie. That's not to say, of course, that if you put down a white boy I won't write about them, but that I'm trying to get my diversity back. Besides, I don't want y'all to be super shocked when I start posting new fic and it's full of ladies. Thanks for understanding!

Date: 2011-04-19 09:42 pm (UTC)1. I really like Winona, even though she makes some really dumb mistakes. I mean, leave Raylan, sure, he's got issues, but Gary? I wish she didn't bat her lashes to get people to save her ass? But I think that in her own way she's pretty damn strong, too.
2. Raylan. Ava in a weird fucked up way.
3. I'd love for her to have a female friend, but I feel like Rachel would have NO TIME for her antics and Ava would just roll her eyes at her.
4. There's this thing with her and with Rachel from H50, like, what did you think you were getting into, here, with the marrying a lawman? It's a dangerous profession! And Raylan has some serious savior complexes anyway. There are plenty of ways in which Raylan is tough to live with, and the "you never talk about anything" argument is a really good one, but the "I don't like your job" one is kinda lame.
5. I wish we had more of a sense of HER background and what she really thinks of Harlan County. She clearly belongs to Lexington, not the hollers. I wish they'd do more with that, and how Raylan in leaving behind the whole crime family aspect is also moving up in class, with Winona.
