No, it's the opposite; I stopped following about twenty people, many personal friends, mostly because they tweeted about political things and I found the necessary lack of context frustrating. I just followed twitters this spring that were sometimes upsetting me, and with all the chaos in my own life I decided I wanted it to be a space that wasn't bringing stuff in that frustrated, etc. It's all on me, man.
