So I just made a gross phone call I've been putting off entirely too long, and am rewarding myself with both series 6 QI and cleaning my flat.

Everyone's being very cagey about Dreamwidth invites, but shortly after I made my open ID account over there, I got an invite courtesy of flourish. Thank you dearie! I'm happy to say that I am at jlh.dreamwidth.org/. I've added most of you who are there, I think, and am happy to add more. Not sure what I'm doing over there quite yet, however, though likely it would be crossposting until things settle down in some way.

Or, I could use it to do something entirely different. We'll see!

Cagey? I think it's probably more that people have just now started to get invites as DW expands closed beta to ramp up to open beta. Everyone got codes last night though (I think, three invite codes if a journal had been created from the one code that was given a few days ago) so that's probably why you're seeing the explosion.

Glad you got one though! Have added back and all that. :) I haven't really nailed down how I'm using the space either, so that's something I need to think about.

I meant, cagey as in secretive about who they got the code from; there are a lot of entries saying "thank you mysterious benefactor" and the like. I'm not that good at being mysterious so I just didn't bother.

Huh, yeah I did notice that. sundancekid asked me if I minded being identified, and I told her no.

But maybe people have lists of people wanting one and don't want to make someone mad if they are perceived to be doling out codes out of order? Hmmmm, this is made easier by not making a list, I feel. :D
