I know, the story was really interesting—better than the vampire one, which was a little bit of a mess—and then Simon showed up and I was like, can we not? I was all about leaving piles of reviews and now I'm just like, whatever.

It's really good to know that they float around in the background of other people's stories; that would be the limit of what I'd want. It reminds me of Seamus/Dean floating around in the background of stories back in my HP days.

Unpopular, like, I can handle? It's the worry about folks hating on them that makes me sad. I think that Yuletide and Fandom Secrets have really convinced me that there are lots of rare or not-as-popular things that people really want, and even if those people are fewer and quieter, they want the things even more. So I'd never stop writing, but I do want more to read. (hint, hint)

The story is almost done, but I'm glad I'm writing it first and posting it when finished, because it's complicated and I've gone back and revised things in the earlier chapters several times! It means so much that people are looking forward to it!
