I am very pleased, along with my fellow muses, to announce the opening of Pierian Springs, the Y!group for the HP Muses! Like any good party, we have food for you--five exclusive Christmas Cookies in the Got Milk? folder!

Who are we, and why should you care? Well, we are:

Calliope ([livejournal.com profile] fiatincantatum), author of Priori Incantatem, which can be found in Blowing Off Steam. True to her namesake, the muse of epic poetry, she's working on her own epic: an amazing pastfic about the last Voldemort war starring Madame Hooch.

Clio ([livejournal.com profile] jlh). That would be me, proclaimer and muse of history, and hopefully you know what I've written if you're here. All the published work can be found in The Water Clock, including EWfS and much more. Plus, there's a Christmas Cookie from the EWfS universe! (And now you know where I got the name!) As for the history part--well, stay tuned . . .

Erato ([livejournal.com profile] evil_erato), author of the Christmas Cookie "Merry Fucking Christmas," Snape-lover and all-around task master who keeps the rest of us writing (and believe me, we are a recalcitrant bunch) and who really should be writing more herself. True to her calling as the muse of love poetry, most of what she wants us to write is, well, up there on the old rating scale. Be forewarned.

Euterpe ([livejournal.com profile] bluebyrd), author of Paperwork and Slytherin Scores and lover of a certain Slytherin Quidditch captain. She's the muse of music (get it? byrd-song-music-oh, never mind) and her published works can be found in High Notes.

Melpomene ([livejournal.com profile] misscora), author of Friends, Loyalty and Love, as well as plenty of cute short works and not a little darkfic, befitting this muse of tragedy. All of her published works can be found in Tragic Badger, and she also has a Christmas Cookie in Got Milk?

Polymnia ([livejournal.com profile] tessfawcett), muse of Sacred Poetry, is the author of Love on the Quidditch Pitch, among many other things. Come on, sport is a religion, especially Quidditch! Her published works can be found in The Pensieve, and she also put a Christmas Cookie into Got Milk?, one from the LotQP universe.

Terpsichore ([livejournal.com profile] ely709) is the muse of dance and my co-author for SHRDD. Stay tuned for tales of those kids of Ottery St. Catchpole, including Cedric, Fred, George, and a certain Fawcett girl. Her tales will be found in Whirling_Winds.

Thalia ([livejournal.com profile] thalialuna), muse of comedy, is the author of This Present Darkness--so amazing it actually made me like Snape, much less Snape and, well, just read it! It can be found in Behind the Mask.

Urania ([livejournal.com profile] ladylisse) is the muse of telling the future by the stars--as befits the author of As Thick as Blood. Her completed works live in Foretelling the Future, and she has a Christmas Cookie--from the ATABverse--in Got Milk?

So there you have it. Past-present-future. Het-slash-femmeslash-no ships at all. Adventure-comedy-romance-tragedy. If you want it, chances are we've got it, or at least we know someone who can get it for you wholesale. So what are you waiting for? Come join us!
