• small David, "When You Believe." He's wearing leather trousers. honestys_easy said he "out small-Davided small David" and yeah, pretty much. Blah blah coronation blah blah inevitable blah blah babycakes.
  
• Carly, "Without You." I have to say, I don't have a lot of love for this song. She looks fantastic, finally, at least. I don't know if I agree with Simon, but I thought it was just, you know, fine.
  
• Syesha, "Vanishing." I thought that was fantastic, actually.
  
• Brooke, "Hero." It was quite good, until she rushed it at the end, like she was nervous and wanted to get it over with or something. Might have been better if she had had the band.
  
• Kristy, "Forever." It sounds like a high school talent show. And what was that horrible dancing thing she was doing?
  
• D.Cook, "Always Be My Baby." Wow. Just. Wow.
  
• Jason, "I Don't Wanna Cry." I thought he was absolutely adorable, didn't you? Simon did!

I completely missed what the sign had said! What did it say again and why was it so goshdarn hilarious? (The hat was pretty LOLworthy as well, apparently Ryan does not know his hats as well as he knows his shoes.)

By the way, that fic you recced...I recced it to Ren without reading it first and now we're both not speaking to you. It was written well, I'll say, and the first half of the fourth chapter was done exceptionally, but there was just a mountain of "do not want" before and after it that makes me feel like I'll never be comfortable watching small David again. :P

That fic you're talking about... I don't even know. It's forced me to re-evaluate everything I've previously thought about Archie in smutfic. Or rather -- the general idea still freaks me out, but that story is simply amazing. Explicit, yes, but so sensitively done, so captivating, so heartbreaking. I'm still thinking about what to write in my comment to the author.

I'm sort of crying here because now that we're down to only 7, I've realized I'm going to miss every fecking AI for the rest of the season due to schol commitments (for the kid) every Tuesday until 8 p.m. *headdesk* Thus I shall have to find all the performances on YouTube and watch every Wednesday. But I'm really unhappy that I won't get to vote again. *sniffles*

I agree with the three you chose to vote for, they were all really good. I may have cast a vote for the first time ever, even. (For Jason. It was my one happy moment while I finished filing my taxes.)

I was watching NCIS simultaneously which meant I caught the performances for the most part but missed the judging; but I did see the judges' comments on Jason's performance - Simon's reaction to Randy's luau comment was pretty funny, and it was also funny to hear Paula gasp loudly when Simon agreed with her. There was, like, fun judge chemistry going on! I missed Ryan shredding the sign, though.

The leather trousers weren't as disturbing as they might have been because they were a little loose and he was wearing a loose-ish tshirt with them. It was more just, odd, like if he wasn't going to wear them sexily then why wear them?
