I'm so sorry I'm slow in posting my thanks for this—the whole thing makes me feel sort of funny, because I'm not a big person on competitions and things. I hadn't said much about being nominated for the cake_awards, mostly because I suspected that allysonsedai and lillijulianne were responsible for said nominations, and because I was pretty sure I wouldn't win, because there are so many great writers of great Cake fics. But I was wrong:



It's odd because Radio Friendly is a story I didn't think anyone would read, given its enormous music geekery, relatively low rating, and background Rymon drama, which to me all add up to low appeal to the average slash fangirl, but I guess I was wrong! So thanks to allysonsedai and lillijulianne for making me post the thing, and for telling me people would like it, and huge thanks to all the people who voted for me, and the people who read and enjoyed the story! Golly!

In the mice type, I'll just say that entering fandom and hanging out mostly with the big BNF skews your perceptions, possibly permanently. So don't mind me.
