I don't know where my "believe" icon went to, so I'm using the Maine sign for now.

I live in a city of Yankees fans, and I feel badly for the Mets fans whom I look upon as brothers-in-arms, so I'm used to soft-pedaling my happiness about a team win. Not to mention that I'm a music nerd, so I'm always like, but why does someone have to lose? I hate the shots of the losing team feeling woeful.

Still, after an amazing season, and a post season in which I was mainly "cautiously optimistic", the Red Sox have won the pennant and will go on to face the Rockies in the World Series starting on Wednesday. I'll be watching between my fingers, but I'll be watching.

I know I don't mention it much on this LJ, but I love this game!

I *wanted* to watch the pennant ceremony, but NASN cut to a hockey game pretty much straight after the bit with Papelbon. Ah, well.

Bed now. :P

Also, I don't know what happened to my Red Sox icon, so I shall use my Red Car one instead. :))

If it were any other team (and I mean that, as the only other team I mean that about is the Mets, and it can't be Rockies/Mets) facing the Rockies I'd be rooting for the Rockies, seriously, because first Series are sweet.

It was actually kinda lame. The trophy isn't that exciting and no one said anything interesting except how awesome the team is, and the Fox guy asked dumb questions. So it was pretty whatever. You didn't miss anything.

I was really ecstatic last night, but I couldn't help feeling a bit bad for the Indians. They all just looked so miserable. Poor things. :(

but yay Sox! I won't be able to cheer for them 100%, because the Rockies remind me of my Marlins and they're just so cute and ikkle, so I'm sort of torn, but I guess this way I'll be happy no matter who wins. *shrug*
