Nov. 2nd, 2002 09:12 amLuna, I am so glad you're back, in whatever incarnation or name or however you want to do this. You are a Muse, and we like having you around. We are e!vil pink ladies, and you are one of the four, always. So there. :p
Good luck to all the NaNoWriMo types. It seems that everyone who isn't doing it, is a little defensive about it, which they shouldn't be. November is a very busy month for many of us. Me, I need to, oh, choose a graduate school, that's all. Just figure out how to completely change my life. No big deal.
Also, with the exception of maybe two or three very short pieces of erotica, EWFS is the first piece of fiction I've ever written. Ever. Didn't write fiction in high school or college or grad school or since; never wrote fiction for myself. I was an essayist, and I wrote a lot of criticism. But no fiction. So I'm going to sit here and admire the 70,000 words of EWFS, and spend the time between now and oh, probably January, beta-ing for other people, vaguely planning the sequel, and worrying about school.
ely709 has been running around charming the fandom, one writer at a time. Color me unsurprised.
Two weeks! Yes, I'm excited for the movie, but mostly, I'm excited about
ely709 and
eccentricfemme's visit! Huzzah!

Date: 2002-11-02 10:02 pm (UTC)I was hoping to catch you guys on AIM today but Mum dragged me out to do boring shopping. Trying to keep up with friends on their Friday or Saturday night is not working out very successfully (which isn't surprising). Weekends just aren't long enough...
Ummm... can I get up now? LOL. ::hugs::
