Happy Pride! New York's parade was today. They're setting off fireworks and I can hear the booming in my apartment. The cat is unconcerned, proving her dislike of thunderstorms isn't about the noise.

I'm so pleased that the love meme filled up so quickly! Following

emmagrant01's good idea, I decided not to thank people on thread to leave room for more love, but I apologize for those that I didn't get a chance to put the love on before the thread closed. But then, my whole friendslist rocks! Thanks so much; that was exactly what I needed at that moment.

chromodynamics came up for the weekend sans tots and what a whirl of gaiety, what with

emsariel's birthday party and our nice dinner and brunch and then drinks today. I even managed to fit some studying in there.

Hurrah for England, Germany and Portugal (and Argentina, but I don't think I have any Argentinians on my flist) and good luck to Australia tomorrow! I'm still sort of rooting for Ghana because yay Africa, but with Brazil, ugh. A toughie.
