An Icon, A Squee, Some Reality, Cthulhu
Dec. 7th, 2005 08:06 pmAnother new Ron-Padma icon, thanks to a promo photo handed to me by
slytherincess. I like to think that Padma has this photo up in their flat someplace, much to Ron's chagrin, as a subtle reminder that he shouldn't be an arse.
The other day I was pleased to find my rent fic, Leaves of Grass, was rec'd highly by
eponis. It's the first time I've seen a fic of mine rec'd by someone I didn't know and it was a pretty amazing feeling, especially with all these folks seeing the film and all.
The thing about me and reality TV is that I always seem to only have one going and as soon as that one ends the next one begins. It's very convenient. Breaking Bonaduce just ended and I have to say on a seriously anti-climactic note, though I suppose if you've spent the season boozing and juicing and carrying on generally and then you go to rehab but you still get fired from your job, it's hard to have a real upbeat ending.
I'm all a flutter about the new Project Runway, which starts tonight. If I'm not mistaken Daniel, the season 1 episode 1 loser, is back for more. I think I'll need an icon of Tim, because he's the one I really missed. Not that I don't love Heidi Klum's whole crazy "You are out! auf weidersehn!" thing, because it added this sudden dominatrix edge to her sunny persona, but she's been marrying Seal and having his baby so I don't feel like I had to miss her. Lucky girl. Michael Kors also seems to go to the opening of an envelope (though he's not as bad as Isaac Mizrahi who doesn't seem to know if he even wants to be a designer). But Tim, that sexy bitch! I can't wait to read the first "Tim's Take" which the Bravo folks have quite rightly moved from the episode summaries to its own spot on the Project Runway homepage.
America's Next Top Model ends tonight. I really haven't been watching it, except for a bit of a marathon this weekend. The most interesting thing, for me, is that because it's the lead in for Veronica Mars, we had pretty solid new episodes since the beginning of the season. But with this finale, VM also goes on hiatus until mid-January! (Time for me to finally write that post about why this happens.)

Moony, sweetie, why do you keep coming up in these?
And with that, I'm off to put up the decorations!

Oh Great Cthulhu!
I have been an extremely industrious devotee this year.
In April, I fed
taradiane to a Shoggoth (250 points). In February, I defiled the grave of that traitor, Lovecraft (90 points). In December, I prepared an ocean voyage to R'lyeh (200 points). In November, I rescued
seviet from being sacrificed (-200 points). In January, I stopped
moony from defiling Lovecraft's grave (-20 points). In June, I visited my relatives in Innsmouth (100 points).
In short, I have been very good (420 points) and deserve to get hooked up with one of those cute Innsmouthers.
