Don't you hate it when you have all this stuff to post about and you haven't posted in a little while? So since I'm sitting here reading other people's papers rather than writing my own I think I'll spam today, get the pipes clear and all that. Possibly writing here will make it easier for me to write for school as I'm a bit blocked.

So I was home last week for an unexpected family thing, which gave me the opportunity to listen to our local classic rock radio station, the Blimp, which really is one of the best radio stations in the country, IMO. They do five-song bursts, and this is the one I heard driving back from Wal-Mart on Wednesday morning, which I feel sums up the awesomeness of this station:

Radar Love, Golden Earring
Love Me Two Times, The Doors
Check It Out, John Mellencamp
Little Wing, Jimi Hendrix
Rock of Ages, Def Leppard

My main disclaimer here, though, is that I feel it is essentially not a good idea for one to exclusively listen to music written before one was born. (Yes, that includes classical or art music; there ARE new composers out there.) Sure, prefer it, but give the new stuff a chance every once in a while to make sure you aren't missing anything.
