HIMYM FTW!

I've been shouting about How I Met Your Mother for a while now, and I reckon if you want to come to it, you will. ali_wildgoose and emsariel are almost done with my Seasons 1&2 DVDs—who else is interested?

For those of you who already on board, two bits of good news, one anecdotal, one official. The Hollywood Reporter notes that Britney brought HIMYM its highest ratings ever, and since the other three shows of the night were all down from last week, folks really did just tune in for HIMYM and then tune right back out. HIMYM had a strong week when it came back from the strike hiatus, too, so we have great momentum going into the late season; hopefully the show is off the bubble, lame-o CBS exec or no lame-o CBS exec.

And I had a sense that things were moving because that Yuletide story I wrote? I got three reviews in the last week—I went to yuletide to see if I was the story of the day or something, but no. I think that was all new viewers; one reviewer who said she had just started watching and hoped that Yuletide would provide fic. Exciting!
