Oct. 9th, 2007 11:14 pmI just spent 30 minutes restarting my computer, my airport, and my modem, and reconfiguring my airport TWICE before it started talking to my computer again. ali_wildgoose and then suddenly, even though I had plenty of bars, nothing was online. Jeez I hate technology sometimes. Well, at least the Thai place found my flat despite their apparently not being able to hear me unless I shouted.
Hello, Dolly is on TCM and my god, studio movies of the late 60s are a mess, aren't they? These very late musicals just seem to not have anything to do with anything in the real world. This one especially, because Walter Matthau and Barbra Streisand hated each other and she was woefully miscast (FAR too young). Then again, this is another one of those 60s movies set at the turn of the century, and what was THAT all about?
Meanwhile, Drew Lachey is adorable, and why can't I find a fucking picture to make a fucking icon of him with? I can't even find an icon comm that isn't all locked up. And damnit it was his last week and now I won't even have random weekly Drew anymore. That's kinda lame. Someone give that man a job. (If the crapass On the Lot comes back maybe he should host that.)
