Weekend

Finishing up leftover margarita and then making even more while laying around watching Sex and the City, Six Feet Under, and Saturday Night Live and also, of course, gossiping and giggling, is a brilliant way to spend a Saturday night with amoeba. (By the way, that rap that Chris Parnell did during Weekend Update was surprisingly good, wasn't it? Anyone seen it anyplace on the web?) It seems so very odd that things are back to normal again, as they haven't been really since book 5 came out, nearly three months ago. That is a lot of activity. It was a hectic summer. August, of course, was intensely emotionally draining and September seems to be some sort of clean up period but even that is nearly over.

Maybe I'll actually have the energy to work on that sequel . . .

Meanwhile I've finished my challenge fics and hope to have them up shortly. Speaking of which:

What I do to waste away an afternoon

So I had some time between dropping Cass off at the train and getting ready to meet up with a friend for dinner and what did I do with it? The icon meme. Mutual friends with more than 3 icons only. Which actually didn't reduce things as much as I would have thought but ah well.
