Sang my ass off last night. C____ tuned up my guitar and challenged me to belt out the Afghan Whigs song that I've been working on for a few months, so I did.

Had a very nice mini-NYC fandom thing yesterday at lunch, to which I dragged ickle C____. Ladies, my original punk rocker boy is leaving Gotham with my copies of HP in hand. Go us!

Speaking of punk rock, The Virgin Megastore has The Takers CD in stock! (That's C's band; he's the drummer.) They had their own divider and everything! Very exciting.

It's shaping up to be a very nice day indeed, a nice day that I will probably spend inside, writing. Yesterday was a lousy rainy day and I spent it running around from here to there. So it goes.

People clearly see what they want to see.

I wrote a story in AT from the POV of two Muggle boys in a club who are watching the exploits of two other men whose proper names they do not know. Here's how the first mystery man is described:

"He moved like a whirling dervish, his sandy hair flopping into his eyes. He had long since taken off his shirt and tucked the corner of it into a belt loop and his light brown chest hair glistened with sweat. He wasn’t exactly handsome and while he was fit, he didn’t have the sort of sculptured physique that one commonly saw in a club such as this. But his joie de vivre made him the most appealing man in the room; that and his air of both total openness and complete unavailability."

How in god's name could anyone read that and think Draco? I mean, joie de vivre? And since when does "a tall black man" describe Harry?

Okay, back to the HP

I know it isn't incredibly popular to be a shipper, but I'm actually writing this less as a shipper and more as a Seamus and Dean fan in general.

Where the FUCK is the Seamus and Dean art? Okay, a minor ship, and I'm not saying that I'm looking for art of the two of them snogging or something. But bloody hell! I went to the damn "adopt a chibi" site, and they had Bill Weasley, and Lee Jordan, and fucking NEVILLE, and no Seamus or Dean.

Who do I have to FUCK to get a cute pic of Seamus? I so far have gotten one piece of fan art, which I very much appreciated, but it was of DRACO AND GINNY. Never mind what people are reading into my fucking fic (see previous post).

I am so totally abasing myself to any artists that might have read anything of mine and begging them, BEGGING them for something.

I'm done. I'm sorry, that was incredibly undignified.
