Look out! Much change ahead!

Ah, fleet week. Also, look, I have a new icon from ely709! My week in review:

1. Monday: Day trip for work even though still sick. At least I was called a trouper.
   
2. Tuesday: Watched the cheese-tastic yet entirely incompetent Ryan Seacrest fuck up for the last time this season (sob) though not the results show where Carrie robbed Bo.
   
3. Talked to a returned tea_and_toast.
   
4. Wednesday: Resigned. I haven't entirely processed this. I have seven more weeks of working and then some time off and then I will be a student.
   
5. Went to the chip shop with cassandraclaire and tromboneborges. Fun!
   
6. Bought some art from seviet to celebrate resigning from job.
   
7. Thursday: rubydebrazier bought me dinner as thanks for packing her books and kitchen, which was sweet. I can't wait to see her new place!
   
8. Came home and converted Carrie to the wonder that is VH1 Classic. This morning they played: Rock n Roll Radio by the Ramones, Radio Radio by Elvis Costello, Radio Clash by the Clash, and Radio Gaga by Queen. It is an awesome channel
   
9. Friday: Slept in, packed, talked about girlcrushes and performative bisexuality with weatherby and evil_erato.
   

Now I'm off to light_music-land to meet my goddaughter! While the last few weeks have been quiet, the next few will be very hectic. I'm coming back late Sunday afternoon to meet up with my friend D who is in from LA. Next weekend C is here, and the weekend after that is set aside for folk-ing. Then I'll be in the homestretch at work, last four weeks!

Dude, totally haven't absorbed this. Totally.

We totally need to hang sometime next week. This week nearly killed me, which means I will be a GIANT SLACKER next week to make up for it ;}

I'll be around during the week. No plans to head to Atlanta though I will be very busy as we have a deadline looming. C is showing up at some point on Friday and will be here the weekend.

I choose to second Ali's need to hang out with you. If I was nearby I would suggest an outing in pursuit of margaritas.

I have never, incidentally, resigned from anything apart from the committee of the Sussex Uni LGBT Soc. I'm hoping this works out for you, and I'm sure it will. We should catch up soon. Mwah.
