Today I am thankful for the affordable, extensive, mostly safe, mostly timely mass transit systems in Boston and New York City that have allowed me to live without a car for my entire adult life. I particularly love it when the bus is right there when I get out of the subway and I can have a free transfer ride home instead of having to walk!
