jlhfor I have lost my phone.
I am hoping I lost it at the restaurant (who I called but it was really busy and they asked me to call them back) because otherwise it is in a cab, and I will have to trust in karma and things to get it back. However, it would be very odd to have lost it in the cab as the pocket I put my phone in has a velcro flap on it, and that velcro flap was shut when I felt for it. However, I did take it out in the restaurant, and it just might not have made it back into the bag.
Or, it might have fallen out in the cab, which would suck.
So, if you want me, call my actual home number. I'll check my messages, though. And in a while maybe I'll call my phone and see if someone found it.
alas! This week has totally absolutely sucked, I'm going to spend the weekend alone, next week is going to be really busy, and it just doesn't stop. I hate this.
ETA: It WAS in the cab, and the cab driver brought it back! Yay for karma!

This week for me hasn't sucked but I have been completely without email access. In 8 years I have never had my email go out for more than half a day at once so the fact that it has been out for 6 days straight has been quite jarring. And while this is not an issue of karma, but an issue of no one in the city of bloomington having email in some strange freak act of retribution for our hedonistic liberal ways, it still makes me wish for an extra cup of good luck. Will wish for one for you, too, while I am at it.
