So msscribe and I were talking last night, and we think that all of you Pumpkin Pie types should wear some orange to the NY IMAX on Saturday next, or wherever you might be seeing it. (Sabs, can you get behind this? More folks read your LJ after all . . . )

And thus endeth our American Idol season. I will need a new pop culture obsession to post about or all you will get are really boring fic updates and the occasional note about Six Feet Under. Suggestions?


I am so satisfied. It was Fantasia's from the moment she stepped on that stage, not in the finals, but in the semi-finals. She blew me away then, she blows me away now, she is beyond amazing. Even my hipper than thou office mate thought she was incredible. Go Fantasia!

More people read my LJ? /:) heheheh I doubt that but I do go posting around thepumpkinpie and harryhermione a lot so I think this can be do-able and I'm all for backing this. Of course, I don't have anything with orange on it really - I should've bought a pumpkinpie.org bag or something to carry... anywho...

So what's the basic gist, do you think? I could make a post tonight - basically saying that all Pumpkin Pie-ers (Harry/Hermione shippers) should wear something orange or even something with a pumpkin/pumpkin pie to support their ship uniformly across the globe as we all watch PoA for the first time(s), whether it would be at PoA IMAX, NYC or elsewhere... and that if you see others wearing it, wherever you may be seeing it, you've found a kindred person from fandom and could use that to say hi to one another? Or am I just not making any sense? ^_^

It was really just, hey this is our moment, and also I have a really cute orange outfit. ^_^ But yes, wearin' o' the orange, and Seamus forgive me.

I think the just having pumpkin or pumpkin pie, though, seems dangerous--as who has anything with a pie on it? And pumpkins belong to all of HP, really. So, orange, specifically, was the thought, and you really don't have to wear much of it to have it show.

I didn't just yet - as I wanted to clarify and because I was going crazy again packing as well as cleaning apartment as am back in NYC now from now till June 6 :D but in any case - that makes sense - and is simple *g* I try to complicate matters sometimes without meaning too - and I shall do a post later this evening and then get people to pimp it ^___^

Posted there and my LJ :D It seems to be a hit of an idea - I guess we'll see how many do it - this week I'm going to see if I can find orange ribbon ^___^ and am contemplating buying something express from cafepress :P :D hehe - hope you are enjoying your weekend as I know you are away today and tomorrow! :)
