Sick week

This week sort of sucked. We had nice weather in NY all week but I pretty much missed it because I was inside being sick since Saturday afternoon. Weak, sleeping all day, swollen glands, coughing up the lining of my esophagus, incapable of putting together a coherent thought. I took three days off work so far. I haven't been writing either (see the part about thinking). I have been ripping cds to put on my ipod, though. I have been going in alphabetical order and am now at REM (though I have all of U2 on there as well) and I have so much room left, I'll be able to go back to the skipped cds and put some of them on as well!

Watched the end of Carmen and Dave tonight. Damn, those are two sappy dopey little goths, aren't they?

And now I'm getting into the tub so I can attempt to go into work at some point tomorrow. So have I missed anything? Got anything to keep me amused?

I could have been in a coma and not missed DV14. Insider knowledge and all that. Also, I have made a solemn vow to myself, CC, and Rach that I will not read it until it is finished. I would have read DS while I was sick (I've read DD) but I barely had enough brain capacity to read In Style.

You're waiting until DV is *entirely* finished to read it? That is some self control there missy. Although, reading in serial format has me forget more than I remember.

Well, I know where she's going with some of it, so that will help me, especially since I'm sure I'll be wailing over what she's doing to my poor dear Seamus.

Now I've got to the restless but not yet strong part of the illness, so I'm just getting really bored. I'm very sure this will be a long, long weekend. Hopefully, though, I'll be able to get some writing done.
