Am at

tea_and_toast's; we went out to dinner last night with

aegeus and my buddy P and now we're sitting in an oddly quiet house as "Dad" has taken the kids to the zoo. Got tons of music off Lowell last night and will soon rip things back off the old ipod and organize. Whee!

Y'all are lucky that I was too lazy to get out the computer on the train down here, because I was doing my reading for this week's class on slavery in the colonies and I was getting angrier, and angrier and angrier about untold numbers of things that have been floating around LJ and I was going to be all, I must stand up and be counted! But the urgency has passed now and I doubt I have anything to add to the things that have already been said; may as well remain opaque on what I'm actually thinking. I will say, though, that now that the gays and the blacks have been demonized the Jews can't be far behind and I'm just waiting for the weirdo conspiracy theory on that one.

Meanwhile Geraldo and Sheppard had a freak out on Hannity and Comes, so the journalist's hysteria over no one listening to what they are saying has finally reached Fox News. Thanks to

muffinbutt for the link. Maybe we'll get truth out of the coverage of this crisis in a way we absolutely did not in the lead up to the invasion of Iraq.
