Especially if you are still in the process of adding lots 'o music to your library, let me also recommend an "Added Today" list (Date Added is in the last 1 day). This is handy for reviewing whatever you added most recently to make sure it has the correct info.
Also, assuming you don't have an ipod big enough to hold all of your music, a "ipod playlist" with rules something like "Last Played is not in the last week OR is in the playlist "songs I love" AND Limit to , will help you keep a fun mix of music. :)
