Not actually today's post

To my fellow Manhattanites: The mayor just gave a press conference and thinks that the smell is more likely the chemical that makes natural gas smell, than the natural gas itself, as there is no evidence of a gas leak. I thought it smelled more like heating oil, myself, though it has dissipated from my neighborhood at this point.

In other news, the non-fandom wank that makes you feel oh so much less crazy, just in case you haven't seen it yet.

His wife is a horse?

His wife is a horse?

His wife is a horse? His "soul mate" is a HORSE?

I just can't wrap my brain around it all. I did find it amusing that he posted about wanting "her" to be monagamous. Then he mentions she might be pregnant. News flash, dude: It isn't yours.

Maybe he was Catherine the Great in a past life.

His wife is a horse. *shakes head* This will never make sense to me, as long as I live.

What's odd is what a selfish asshole he is, really, because he sleeps with these horses, and here is this totally accepting woman, who wants to be with him, and all she wants is to be with others as well, and that's got him all pissy. Also, that these people are playing out their relationship on LJ which is always sort of gross.

Oh, and then on top of that the vague but still polite bafflement of the polys.

Yeah, I love how it's okay for *him* to share the love, but not her. I can't imagine what kind of woman would be happy being second to a horse, but she must be an amazing person to put up with an assmunch like that.

And yes, it's interesting how the polys are actually sort of British about the whole thing.

No, I think she actually has a relatively low opinion of herself to put up with his shit for longer than ten seconds, even without the horses, because he is a DICK.

I have no time for those people who are all, "animals don't expect anything from you, they're love is pure." And it's like, no, their love is based on your feeding and caring for them, really. THAT's what they expect from you. And saying that people suck just because they want to be treated well is obnoxious; if YOU can't handle human contact then maybe YOU are the one with the problems.

You know, the internet is sadly making me lose my sympathy for people who have social issues, rather than gain it.
