I passed out around 11 last night, only to wake up around 3:30am. Since I couldn't get back to sleep, I just rolled over and turned on the TIVO, which really is a blessing at a time of night when all that's on is infomercials.

Poor Nicky gets accused of murder and all he ranks is a B plot? Okay, so it was a pretty straightforward case, but still. No angst for us. However, I noticed—Ecklie just stopped when he found the obvious answer, as is his wont. But in a previous episode Gil scolded Nick for doing the same thing with some audio evidence, and further digging turned up important clues. Parallel, or am I over thinking this?

Poor Gil and his not-quite-thing with Teri the anthropologist. He's so crushy and unsure and she's so randomly showing up and leaving and not calling.

I finally started to drift off watching Alton cook a steak over hot coals.

Also, today is Dorothy Fields's 100th birthday, and I intend to listen and sing to not much other than her songs all day today. Diamond bracelets Woolworth's doesn't sell, baby . . .

Even though I don't understand it, I thank you for the HP free content. I am going quite mad looking at all the spoiler cut-tags on my flist and I'm getting close to cracking and just clicking on one. I'd sit on my hands to keep this from happening but alas, it would interfere with work. Which I should probably focus on. But OMG BOOK SOON!! *bounces*
