So's your MoMA!

Wow, I know so many facts about Vin Diesel now!

I had an amazingly New York weekend. Sunday I went to MoMA to see the Cezanne/Pissaro exhibit and a bit more of the permanent collection. I really love being a member; it's so worth it to be able to wander in whenever, and to be able to get friends in for cheap. On this trip, I was with CC, Josh, Ruby and Eric. Monday, Ruby and Eric hosted a fireworks viewing. On top of the indie movie on Friday and the Shakespeare in the Park on Saturday, it was quite a culture-filled, taking-advantage-of-the-city sort of weekend.

I'm also loving my DVR. Tomorrow, while I'm at work, it will be taping Banacek. And some other day? McMillan and Wife. This is the life, I'm telling you.

[livejournal.com profile] tea_and_toast wants to know why she doesn't see more phone posts. I'll say: I think you need to be in the car to do them, or some such. I mean, my "commute" consists of a 15 minute walk, during which I listen to my ipod and don't often call folks due to all that traffic noise. So that's me out, at least for a while.

Also, I pretty much only click on hers.

And in other news, I continue to be completely obsessed with this song. I have danced to it four times this evening and intend to do so again before bed.

I don't feel that I have anything to say in a phone post that I couldn't say in a regular entry, and I suspect my phone posts would come out like, "Uh... I don't really have anything to say right now." And like Morri, I'm not a big fan of them. When I'm on my computer I'm almost always listening to music if not actually watching a movie or something, and I don't feel the urge to click on someone's phone post and disrupt whatever I was doing. Not, of course, that it's a huge disruption - I just don't feel like doing it.
