I hate it when people do that! It is far, FAR more selfish to have a kid that you are entirely unwilling or unprepared to take care of, or take responsibility for, than to decide not to have them! Horrid for people to give you or anyone a hard time about it.

I had expected to see that sort of thing on this community, or maybe the whole, "we have to make up for the parents who are never at work" stuff, but instead it was a lot of general carping about children, and someone crowing over how that woman in Paris was lying, which I didn't think actually had anything to do with not wanting children. It was just sort of odd.
