Day on, not a day off.
Jan. 16th, 2006 11:51 amSpamming you before I head to
calloocallay's and do some real work.
So I'm eating my breakfast and watching this show where they play a classic video from an artist and then the latest thing. And while with an artist like Madonna or U2 or Green Day or even Mariah you think, wow, totally still relevant, playing Liz Phair's "Stratford-on-Guy" and then her latest piece of radio-friendly pop-rock crap is just depressing.
I'm also not sure that the Golden Globes are the best way to honor the memory of Dr King but I'm not in charge of scheduling award shows. (Red carpet coverage is SO 1998.) But look for reactions to the awards themselves later.
